The place was advertised with 24h checkin, that was the only reason I've booked it, but at reception they told it's from 3pm only. They could not find our prepaid booking in their system, and had to proxy between them and hotels.com to sort it out, more than 2x, which took up half my day. At least hotels.com was helpful, and compensated me with a voucher for the time lost. After i've managed to check in (planned to sleep as soon as i check in, in the morning originally) I could not rest in the room as they were hammer drilling and knocking in both nearby rooms and the workers were listening to loud music. I've even recorded the db values and showed at the reception - instead of stopping the noise, they offeret to put me 2-3 rooms away (same noise..), which i told them won't help.. They just made a sarcastic comment they have to finish renovation sometime... In a hotel i pay to sleep - and they even failed with that... I've written a complaint to the HQ and hotels.com - a&o ignored my message,then hotels.com at least managed to getr drilling reduced for the next two days (it woke me up sat still..). The place is also mixed with a hostel part, and often we had to fight our way through arriving/leaving groups of children (yelling loud in the lobby), and some workers who practically live in the bunk beds hostel part (no problem with that, just to illustrate the ambiance) - ie it's like walking in a concert... Location was close to hbf, most emplyees were friendly.
