Onar Villas

We booked the Lavender Cave suite for our family of 4. It had a nice view and the beds were comfortable. It had a little outdoor Jacuzzi. They fed us well for breakfast and they were really accommodating with a food allergy. There was a little kitchen with a fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery which was a nice bonus. They were helpful with booking us transfers and making restaurant reservations. I think the only drawback was an issue with ants. They sprayed them immediately when I brought it up. Everything else was clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Onar Villas was incredible. If I ever come back to Santorini, I will stay here again. We saw the whole island and I don’t think there is a nicer location or villa. I and 3 friends (1 couple + 2 friends) stayed in the Lavender cave for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hosts helped us check in at 10pm (late) and helped us check out early (7am) — even bringing breakfast 2 hours early on our final day. Breakfast on the patio every morning was incredible. We didn’t spend much time in the villa other than morning and night, when we sat in the hot tub (fits 2 people comfortably, 3 people almost overflows it) every night. The view is spectacular and it is a short walk from the very fancy part of Oia. Our villa was maybe 20 steps down from the main road, which was totally manageable for us but could be difficult for people with mobility issues. The hosts couldn’t have been more kind or helpful — they were wonderful. They arranged transportation for us as well. The villa was cleaned immaculately every day when we left. It really was heavenly. The villa is small — the 4 of us were comfortable and the bathroom was really nice and spacious. Great shower and toilet. The separate bedroom is connected to the main living/bed area so there isn’t much privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. We didn’t mind that. I hope to come back!

Stunning location with a beautiful room and kind and helpful staff!

Great hotel! The room was very large and spacious. The pool area is very nice and hotel restaurant has lots of great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The free shuttle into town is also very convenient.
