what a great hotel
Brilliant stay to be fair. Good pub atmosphere on a Wednesday night, delicious food. Rooms were amazing me and my apprentice had a superior each as it was still cheaper than premier inn. Massive bathroom with separate shower and bath. Comfy bed, well furnished nice place to be.

Good location for Castle
The room was OK, but I would not call it a “Superior Double”. The room was not as the room advertised with very little room around the bed and so a bit disappointed as it was a treat for my Wife’s 50th Birthday (which I had noted when I booked) The shower ran very hot & then cold so we got out of it rather quickly. There was also a 18th Birthday Party taking place in the evening which went on past midnight with loud music in our bedroom! On the plus side the staff were really good in the bar and restaurant side & the food was great. The hotel is in a brilliant location to visit the Castle.

Lovely country pub in Cotswold village - great service the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food was lovely and a great selection of beer and wine available. They have a number of specials available which are good value for money. Would definitely stay again

:Let down by lack of bleach and hot water
Bed and breakfast were both excellent, as was the quiet night despite being on the main street. Very off putting was the state of the bedroom door and the corridor fire door outside. Quite blatantly not seen a clean in months judging by the colour of the white paint. And the bikkies in the room went out of date 6 weeks ago.

O.K. for one night.
We were in room 10 - up several flights of stairs. The bed was broken on arrival - the wooden slats had been dislodged, we repaired it ourselves, but were then frightened to move all night. The room was adequate. The shared bathroom was not too much of an issue during our visit, and was clean - shower was good. Breakfast was excellent! Drinks very expensive at the bar.

White Hart Inn Winchcombe
The white hart was in a good location but was overpriced for what it was. Basically a room above a pub. The room was large and bed comfortable but was outdated and definately not one of the ones featured on the website!! Felt a dusty and the shower was rubbish. However the staff were friendly although it seemd a bit disorganised and the breakfast was fine but several items were lacking/missing (run out of smoked salmon!). Didn't eat there in the evening but had a drink in the bar which was lively and atmospheric.
