Amazing as always. Smaller hotel but great staff, cooked to order breakfast and comfortable beds. I would never stay anywhere else.
Nice hotel and good location. Breakfast was really good. Had to have the blinds drawn all the time as the building next door looked right in. No hot water for shower but lots for the sink.
This Hotel is a gem tucked away in the middle of the Central District. I found the staff extremely friendly and inviting. I recommend Porto Allegro.
I really liked the location. The breakfast was very good and employees were very nice.
This is my 8th year of staying at the Hotel Porto Allegro. I wouldn’t be returning year after year if it wasn’t what I liked. The crew stays the same year after year so it’s li going home.
This hotel was affordable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the continental breakfast in the morning on the rooftop dining area. The location is very close to the Malecon and Old Town/Zona Romantica area.
Nice staff, the breakfast was delicious, amazing location!
Hotel Porto Allegro is well located for a quick stay. Half a block from the river and Isla Rio Cuale, there is an enormous range of places to go and see. The hotel itself is small but comfortable and very clean. The staff really made sure to always wear masks and supply sanitizer each time you come and go. While the area is active, it also gets quiet at night.
I arrived to the hotel a few hours earlier than expected for check in due to change in our flight. We had a long day and were very rushed due to the changes as I mentioned above. Upon arrival I asked if I would be able to check in earlier or leave my luggage and was answered no. I was told if I wanted to check in early I had to pay $100 pesos extra I had no choice but to pay or I would be walking around with 3 huge luggage. This is the first time any hotel either in USA or Mexico has charged me for early check in kind of fishy to me 🤔
It was a wonderful value with a full breakfast every morning, that saved a lot of money and Monica is a wonderful cheerful host. All of the desk managers were friendly and gay or straight people were treated well. Location is perfect for everything is close to walking distance. Bathrooms are all new. The beds are Novafoam and they are like sleeping on a cloud.
