Only stayed one night, beds were comfortable and the service was great! Room overlooked the canal which was very picturesque! Very short walk from water bus drop off!

Perfect base for Venice - morning, noon and night
A great base for our family of 4 to experience Venice. Emiliano is a wonderful host. Even before our arrival communication was great. He even met us at our Taxi to help us with our luggage. Emiliano speaks great English and gave us lots of tips - including recommendations for places to eat. Nothing was too much trouble. Now the place itself is ideally located. It is right on the Grand Canal - so not only did we get great views but we were just moments from the daily Market, Rialto Bridge (where the waterbus is) and just 10-15 mins to St Marks Square. It's the right side of Rialto Bridge so is much less busy than the other side. The only two negatives. One is that we missed not having Breakfast (it's not a B&B) - it would have been nice to have had some pastries and fruit, even if it was not possible to have a cooked breakfast. Second, we are on the top floor which is great for views, but does mean climbing the stairs as there is no lift (common in Venice). Emiliano made extra effort to take our luggage up and down the stairs - a great host. Emiliano says that they will be shortly refurbishing the place. It was perfectly usable, and any flaws seemed part of the character/history of the place - so I hope they keep this when refurbished! If you're looking for a home away from home, this is it. Sure, you won't get waited on, but you will love the convenience of being able to pop in and out of the place between various activities/tours. And a host that makes you so welcome!

Property location is good, but since it is a very property with only 4units , every aspect of our stay was micromanaged by the owner which i didnt like at all.

Great location with a better view!
Residenza Rialto is in a fantastic location right on the main canal. The place was quiet and clean and there is access to a shared terrace overlooking the canal. The hosts were very welcoming and passed along plenty of information on places to go and things to do.
