Needs a serious update.
Rooms were old. Bed was very uncomfortable, especially the pillows. Definitely would not stay here again.

Perfect Shinjuku location, great staff, good hotel
Perfect location for shinjuku, very happy with our stay. This place was very close to Shinjuku station (5min walk) and right on the outskirt of the grid of shinjuku, so everything we wanted in shinjuku was on our doorstep. One negative was somehow our rooms got mixed up and the room advertised on wasn't available, so we had to pay extra for a room that would fit us. While this was frustrating the staff were exceptional in handling the situation, were very polite and gave us an upgrade because of it. The staff were great our entire stay. Rooms themselves were clean, small as you'd expect but in the upgraded double room there was plenty of space, more than we expected for Tokyo. Would stay here again if I was coming back to shinjuku.

Great location but need upgrading of facilities
Location is excellent. Very near to the Shinjuku Station and many shops & restaurants. The hotel is nostalgic and old. But room is spacious for Tokyo standard. Just wish they change the old and worn out blanket sheets ready enough.

Good budget option for Tokyo
Hotel was clean and tidy. Reception staff were friendly. Staff spoke reasonable English. Very well located for public transport and eating.

Location is spot on.
We loved the location of this hotel, just two minutes walk to bustling Shinjuku shops and restaurants. The rooms are typically small but more than adequate. Breakfast is a choice of either Japanese or European and was adequate, but not great. Would stay here again.

Exceptional 10.0
Convient location and acceptable comfort
The hotel is just 5 - 10 mins walk from Shinjuku station (west exit). Easily accessible to shopping and food. The room is the small room typical of a Japanese hotel. The pillows need to be better.

A great hotel in an attractive part of Shinjuku
This Hotel is well run and well located and has large rooms which is a big bonus. Easy access to station.

Good 6.0
This hotel is quite near to JR Shinjuku station, around 700 meter. It is also very near to several convenient stores and fast food restaurants. The room size is actually above average of its competitors. The downside for me were about its cleanliness that was below average and that it still using an old-fashioned key for its rooms (actually this was my first encounter in Japan which didn't use a card key). The staff was good and helpful as usual as most of Japanese.

Relatively good location and comfortable stay. Hotel condition is acceptable but is a bit outdated.
