When we arrived the room smelled bad. We mentioned this when Hotels.com asked about check in. Hotels.com said the hotel had mediated this with us directly. They hadn’t. At this point I spoke to reception twice. The second time I was treated very rudely. They did try to fix things later, but AC drips on old shag rug and smells. Breakfast was okay, coffees good

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Lovely to have a balcony and small kitchen in the room. Good breakfast and great location.

Good value property only a few minutes walk from Vitosha Boulevard. Accomodation was of good quality and breaksfast was nice. Down side was that although I was in a no smoking room people do smoke on the balconies and as a result my room smelt of smoke. Also the residential area behind the hotel seems to include many fighting cats and barking dogs (I realise there's nothing the hotel can do about that) so take some ear plugs
