Overall great place to stay, WIFI needs improving
All was ideal, with one slight niggle regarding the restaurant service, had requested meal from the menu an hour and a half prior to coming to the dinning room as I was working that evening. When I came to eat I had to re-order the meal as they had not kept a record so had to wait for them to prepare. Also WIFI was non-existent. As I said a minor issue otherwise top marks for the place, would stay again.

Disappointing to say the least
Disappointing to say the least!!!!! We had two rooms for one night, room 8 had been refurbished and on the surface was nice, it wasn't finished overly well however for a 3 star hotel was acceptable. Room 2 is dated and in bad need of a refurbishment (at least to remove the carpet from the toilet). Unfortunately both beds were awful, the mattresses were too thin and old for a hotel which meant that you could only lie in the same position for 20 minutes before being forced to move due to being in pain. This meant that all three people staying got about 2 hours sleep which obviously was less than desirable. Given that we were in Conon Bridge to welcome our new niece to the family we were still thinking positively the next morning and after seeing/hearing good reviews about the restaurant we were looking forward to a good brekky! Unfortunately the full Scottish breakfast was a total let down, the bacon was under cooked, they gave you half a portion of haggis and half a portion of black pudding mashed up (very odd), the scrambled eggs were fried eggs chopped up, the sausage was lovely but the size of a chipolata and you only got one and the toast was burnt! Unfortunately despite very friendly staff we will definitely not be back to stay in the hotel! We did have a peek in the lodge which I think is owned by the same hotel and it looked amazing so maybe that is where all the money has gone!
