Our stay was 05/28-05/30.Check-in was easy and our room was ready for early check-in which we really appreciated with 3 kids. This is our 4th time staying at this resort.. we requested a room closer to the large pool since my fiance is a disabled veteran but we ended up in the furthest building on the property. It was a holiday weekend so we kept that in mind with this review however, this time, the lazy river was so dirty looking that we opt'd to stay out of it the first day of arrival hoping it would be cleaned that night... it did look a little cleaner when we got there at 10am but still looked kind of icky and not all the trash had been cleaned up from the day before. We were a little disappointed and not to mention the big pool ended up getting shut down, I know that part was out of anyone's control but .. the lazy river I feel like ... it could have been cleaned and maintained a lot better knowing a ton of people were going to be there. It was crazy how people right next to the steps had a whole feast of food there just chillin next to the water. I totally get letting drinks but that much food right next to the stairs.

Frustrating stay
It was very disappointing! We love coming here but this time was a let down for sure! We preregistered with the link that was sent.. just to do it again and check in.. which at that time our room still wasnt ready. We waited over 20 minutes this time.. we wait for 45 min and room still not finished. We chose to go to dinner as we had kids who were hungry. The food options are limited and very over priced for a family. We got back to hotel around 845.. where we had to wait for 30 minutes to get our keys to the room which were not ready. We finally got in room at 925pm. I had asked at the front desk if there were sheets for the pull out couch in the room I was assured that there was, but when we got in the room there was not. I called the front desk to get blankets which took over an hour to get up to our room. Our daughter finally got to bed at 11:30 PM just to find out that our sons bed was wet as the blankets were not completely dried when they put them on the bed, I've cleaned condos and rental companies for check in and check out. This is not acceptable. We did not want to the front desk and wait for another hour before blankets could be delivered so my son wrapped up in a blanket that we had to try to go to bed.. to pay the ridiculous fees of parking and the resort fee after paying over $300 for one night is ridiculous. Overall just bad customer service and not a relaxing stay for the money!! you pay a ton of money to stay there and then they nickel and dime

Fair Condition, staff and amenities were GREAT!
First let me start by saying the staff was TOP NOTCH!! We had numerous issues in our 3/3 and the responses were swift and issue addressed. That being said, there never should have been any issues. We arrived Tuesday night and our bed was literally broken. we thought it was a bad mattress and asked for a replacement the next morning. They discovered that 2 out of 4 of the support beams were broken in half and it was literally collapsing in the middle. The engineering team repaired them quickly. We discovered one of the other beds was missing support posts which they replaced immediately. Housekeeping was back within the hour to remake the beds. We called down later for washcoths, they brought us 10 bath towels and zero washcloths. I called again for washcloths and 8 were sent up immediately. Every carpet in we saw in the hotelwas badly stained, in many areas lifting creating a trip hazard. The safari waterpark deck tiles are also loose and lifting creating additional trip hazard. We observed another guest complaining to staff about the hazard. We did not have a single negative or even average experience with staff. Everyone was at least a B+ with most being an A to A+. Thier customer service was enough to overcome the stained carpets, damaged beds/furniture. Couch had stains too. Our room was free from debris but overall this property is in fair condition. I would stay at the property again because of the amenities, location and staff but the condition was very disappointing.
