Just go anywhere else
The service was totally fine, especially when we checked out about 40 mins after checking in. This just isn’t a place you should stay. We’d been given an upgrade and it was still a cramped, drab, unpleasant room. It was more funny then anything else but do yourself a favor. Unless you have to, don’t stay here

Fair 4.0
Tiny, noisy and dirty
Carpets were dirty, bathroom was super small, bed was tiny and fan in bath very noisy. Heater kept going on and off all night. Not 3 stars as advertised, maybe 1 star.

Exceptional 10.0
It was our first time in DC and the hotel is in an historic area, it was so easy to move around

Budget option that works
Room was fine, a great place to sleep. There's a bar below and the music was loud Friday, but a couple of ear plugs fixed that. Its older but clean enough. If you are tight on budget and need a place to sleep, this works

An okay hotel - excellent location
It is an okay hotel, which matches with the price. Very well located, old hotel was clean, room small, small elevator, but good enough for one night stay.

Poor 2.0
Mixed bag
The customer service left a lot to be desired and they have this mysterious $150.00 for incidentals that they charge you when you arrive. Also I asked the night help for help to call uber when I was leaving and she said it was not possible, go get it yourself. Nice place for the price- terrible desk service. I will not return.

Nice for the money you pay
The hotel is in a good neighborhood. Parking is horrible have to pay $30 to stay overnight if you can find a spot. The rooms are tiny but I guess that’s normal for DC. They do have an elevator which is nice.
