Traditional inn experience
Very traditional ryokan experience with futons, hot bath with a great view, tatami mats. I wanted my friend to experience this on our last night in Japan.

Terrible service - rude staff
The Ryokan is well located and the rooms are OK; however, the service is terrible. there is sir that was not only not polite but very rude at all times I had to interact to him.

Fantastic choice. My wife and I both loved it. We stayed in the executive suite for two nights (Fri + Sat). The property is located extremely conveniently in the Asakusa area, right near the Sensoji temple. There's a sprawling market area literally right next door, and plenty of restaurants around the area. Extremely walkable, and only a block or two from Asakusa station (Ginza or Tsukuba line). Despite being so close to major attractions, we found the area was actually pretty quiet at night, as the markets close fairly early and open late, at least by my standards (~10am - 10pm). The public bath area was also amazing. The hot tub was very refreshing, and the tub + bath area were very traditional style. Highly recommend. My only complaint was that the wi-fi signal was terrible (at least on the top floor where we stayed). Basically unusable with a phone or tablet. A powerful laptop can connect, but it's not that fast.
