Stunning hotel, but strange atmosphere
Loved the hotel. Absolutely beautiful revamp. Beach gorgeous, impeccable interior design. A feast for the eyes. The staff were rude, from manager down to waiters - a culture. The service was non existent most of the time, I was told to 'go back to my table' when I went desperately searching after 30 mins. All the beach beds were removed a week early for closing even though reception said they wouldn't be. Managers response was 'next year guests will have to pay to use them too' promising to treat the next guests worse doesn't make me feel better. And even though kids are allowed, fun, playing and laughter isn't so...

Beautiful hotel - a truly wonderful stay
Have just returned from a perfect stay at Riomar. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views & details everywhere you look. Room: We chose a sea view room and it was totally worth the extra cost - beautiful view out onto the bay and a real treat to wake up to the sound of the waves / the view of the sunrise each morning. Beds are incredibly comfortable with super soft linen and daily housekeeping including fresh towels and linen each day. Mini-bar was stocked but we simply removed all items so we could store our own drinks etc. Pool: The pool is stunning, and the sun loungers are the comfiest I have ever experienced! No issue getting a spot every morning - alongside towels to use - although we did stay at the end of the season so I imagine this may be different in the height of the summer. The service was dangerous as it was just so efficient - the team kept us topped up with Sangria all week! Location: The hotel is at the far end of the bay, so just under a 10 minute walk to the main hub of Santa Eulalia and the port etc. A small shop was right next to the hotel, perfect for picking up essentials. The hotel also have a dedicated section of the beach, directly outside the hotel, should you wish to sunbathe there rather than the pool. Breakfast: Buffet breakfast included every morning until 1130, so great if you're a late rise - no rush to get down for 10! All in all, a perfect stay and would 100% recommend!

The hotel is nice, good location. But on my arrival the blocked to much money (1000 Euro instead of 100 Euro) on my credit card - and I had to wait until I checked out, that I got credit again. Then one of my white blouse disappeared from my room (I'm sure it was a mistake) (it was no value, it just leaves me with very mixed feelings. and on my departure the taxi situation was a total catastrophe - and the hotel new about this difficult situation - I think in high season they should be prepared for this - it was a true disaster.
