Enjoyed a weekend at Thon EU
I was stuck in Brussels for two days en route to West Africa, and selected Thon EU based on price, proximity to public transport, food and general amenities in the area. The Thon EU was not only an excellent deal in terms of price, it was quite simply a very nice hotel with attentive staff, good food and great selection of beer.

I went down to the bar around 7 and asked for glass with ice, the way the Barman responded was way far from from polite. It was abovois that he doesn’t want to help. He said I can’t give u glass with ice since I have to keep them for my customer and I told him I am staying here in the hotel!!!! He directed me to go and find the ice machine on the 2 floor and he was guessing the location. However the receptionist was very friendly and she even gave us late checkout

Brilliant 4 day stay
Excellent, was out of the way from the actual centre and was away from all the rush, but is only 2 metro stops away from Grand Place from Maelbeek station, was really good, big rooms, big shower, double sink, big bed, big tv, I know not everything is better when big but it suited for this paragraph. Recommend if you prefer being slightly out of all the city rush.
