I
A good location near the city centre almost 15 minutes walking...safe area ...a nice staff offered me a breakfast at night as i was going to check out at 5.30 am ....also the respond quickly to my message how to enter the hotel and to find my room keys as my check in will be after 10 pm and there will be no hotel reception after 10 ...value against money is very high
The location was great. The beds were comfortable enough. There were a couple of holes in my bed sheet. We were their during a heat wave - without air conditioning or a fan it made for some uncomfortable sleeps.
This hotel is a 10 minute walk from the market of Bruges. The lady om reception was helpful and friendly. However, we were shocked when we entered our room as it was like a box room and our first impression was to ask for a different room. This couldn't be forfilled unless we wanted to pay extra. This was a shame as when we booked the hotel the pictures were deceiving. My girlfriend got bitten during the night and we don't know what by. The breakfast was a let down and we barely ate or drank due to lack of variety or enough food being available. Unfortunately, we wouldn't rebook to stay here.
We had a great stay at Jacobs Hotel In Brugge! We loved the location and the breakfast was great! The room had a great view and it worked great for our family of 5. One room had 3 single beds and a connecting room had a double bed that worked great for us. The city of Burgge is really amazing, we enjoyed the tour we took from Legends!
The hotel is set to the north of the main centre, which is only 10 mins walk from most of the main sights. The accommodation is reasonable and is reflected in the pricing. The main points to note are that parking is now very expensive if you leave a car on the street near the hotel. The best option is to use the Station or major underground car parks off the ring road. The rooms are not the best in terms of sound proofing, so it's a bit of a lottery on some nights if the people above or next door come in a bit worse for wear.... probably not the best option for families...
Comfortable room, easy walking distance through a beautiful and picturesque area to the main market squares. Excellent experience with every staff member I encountered over three days. Breakfast was nice. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.
Great location, easy to find and convenient for the city centre
Quiet location but easy 15 minute walk into centre of town
The hotel accommodations were not bad. It was what we expected. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is an older building like most of Bruges so the walls were very thin and the floors were creaky Not so much an issue for us however we have 3 young kids and anyone dwelling in our vicinity would have felt like they were living with us. Amenities were pretty basic but also accommodating. The hotel is within a nice walking distance to the Markt and most of the museums and attractions in the area. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip. Bruges is one of my favorite European cities and the Hotel Jacobs was a big part of it.
