We arrived at the Viking for a Twismass break.Janet had paid a premium for a sea view. We were given room 239. Although a sea view, it was very small with 2 x 3 foot single beds and a shower cubicle. It also boasted a smaller than average window (flat, not a bay). I enquired twice at reception about changing to a more suitable room as I am disabled ,only to be told that no other sea view were available. There is no direct access to this room unless you are decent on your feet so please check your room number. Moving on, once again the food was lovely and catered for most people with the staff clean and happy to help. Come the evening entertainment. We have seen Buddy Lee on several visits but he was better than ever.! The acts seem to enjoy the change with the " Christmas Show" rocking. The Sensation Dancers were maybe a tad overused but added to the atmosphere. Great bar staff and never slow to serve. If possible, perhaps the .hotel could look up returning guests and see what requirements for a room they need. ( not a criticism, a suggestion) Its still a great break for the money and will enjoy again. Graham.
