Exceptional
Comfortable, good price, and extremely convenient
Just off the town square, within a minute of the Flanders Fields museum, and 3 minutes walk to the Menin Gate. The room was spacious, and the bathroom spotless. The receptionist very sensibly warns all guests to keep the bathroom door shut when showering, as the smoke detector is a bit close. I had a short stay, but I'd happily go back.

Small hotel with great location
A nice hotel in the center of Ypres, close to everything. Breakfast was great with some options and variety in fruit. The room itself was ok but it didn't feel clean. Bathroom ok but shower with low pressure. The lady at reception was very friendly and high spirited. All staff was friendly.

This is a great hotel , great location and lovely rooms but the staff are amazing , despite covid and mandatory muzzles they worked really hard so we felt safe and comfy . If you get a room at the front the view is fantastic .

Ideal for exploring Ypres/Ieper
We chose this hotel as it was in the centre of Ypres which then meant that we could walk around and explore the area. Also breakfast (which was very good) was included. Shower was excellent. Room had the essentials.

Technically, we are rating the Hotel O staff and Hotel Regina building as - because of Covid-19 travel restrictions reducing the number of visitors, they closed up Hotel O and placed us in other open properties. Hotel Regina is supremely well located on the main square. For its sumptuous exterior, the interior is more simply decorated. The rooms are clean and functional and the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to please. Our third floor rooms were quiet despite the busy central plaza in front of us.

Excellent hotel only 50metres from the main square in Ypres. Very clean. Breakfast included. Have booked again for another stay in 2 weeks time

Ageing a little
The hotel is situated very convenient and it’s manager is a really nice guy. Unfortunately the room coffee machine didn’t work on arrival we were issued a replacement. The room was OK but that is a real push as the shower holder in the bathroom was hanging off the skirting board Was all ripped on the corners. The bath had multiple chips in it. The towel rail was loose to falling off. The blind didn’t work in the room the curtain was hanging off. The window latch was about to fall off, the window ledge was also loose and looked like it had been slept on. The shelf on the wall was also loose. The bedside light was also loose. On the plus the location was excellent and the breakfast was great. We wanted and hotel in the town with food available. We got that but it would of been nice to be a bit more robust. A shame but some finer details and finishes would make it more appealing.
