Fabulous Yosemite Accomodation
We had a great family holiday at this hotel. There are a range of activities for both children and adults alike. The drive to Yosemite West Gate is only about 10 mins and then the drive to the Valley about 45 mins, making it a very convenient location. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the cost of food and beverage is average making it good value for money accommodation. We loved the Hot Tub especially after all the long treks in Yosemite. The grounds are clean and well maintained. We would certainly stay there again and most probably for longer than the 3 days!

Rustic luxury
We arrived at Rush Creek Lodge after dark and after a long day’s drive. The place looked stunning all lit up and we felt very welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - my only extra request would be for bathrobes, as it was cold overnight even in the summer. Rush Creek Lodge was a perfect base to explore stunning Yosemite, and we were able to get great tips on where to go. I was able to start each day with a swim in the big (and heated!!) pool, plus we could soak our tired legs in the hot tubs each night. Bliss. While we didn’t use the service, there is on site massage available, and there looked to be a heap of options for adults and kids to keep them entertained when they’re not exploring the park. There are also coin-operated washers and dryers available, as well as a well-stocked general store. I’d highly recommend Rush Creek Lodge.

Fantastic resort right on the edge of Yosemite. 40 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. It was great to relax around the pool after a hard day hiking. There was a complimentary wine tasting with Yosemite Wines which was fantastic. Only downside was the wifi was not very good in our room and kept dropping out.

Nice place to stay close to Yosemite
Stayed 7 nights – great location for Yosemite Park Pros: -Room – Large (King) with deck, refrigerator, K-Cup coffee machine and electric kettle for hot water -Instead of drawers there were shelves – lots of them; perfect for groceries, suitcases, etc. -No noise from adjoining rooms plumbing -Huge shower and nice towels -Convenient Laundry room $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry (will need more than one cycle) -Microwave available in laundry room -Market – to buy sandwiches, breakfast burritos, muffins to go and beer and wine (marked up) Cons: -Somewhat expensive -Could not check-in half hour early -Room was never made up if we returned before 5:00pm -Somewhat stingy with the wash clothes -No bar soap for the shower – liquid pump -AT&T cell service choppy; parts of the day really bad -Internet slow during peak usage -Rude and stingy with seating in booths in bar area of restaurant – needed to be 4 + blah, blah, blah What you should know: -NO TV in your room -There is no place to eat except the hotel restaurant. Food was good but the selection and variety were disappointing and got very tiresome to figure out something different to eat every night -About 15 minutes away is the Buck Meadows Restaurant. It’s a dive but has decent food, larger selection and cheaper. -Will only replace towels or wash clothes if they are on the bathroom floor and on the floor of your shower doesn’t count. Overall it was a good and we would recommend it.
