Good value for money, was very basic but wasn't expecting anything more than that. Was very quiet was only us and one other pod in use! Toilets were fine, shower block had loads of ants! We weren't there very long as was just somewhere to sleep. Activities looked quite good but quite expensive for what they were

I did not know that there was no staff at all at the premises. The hotel send me message of codes and room bumber which I did not awared off. So I came at the first time there and did not know what to do, until I have to ask another customer nearby. Called the number given but no one answering. Lucky, I checked all the messages and found my code. The room or pods was clean, but bit disappointed with no pillow, no utensils in the kitchen and no bathroom. They should inform more detail in the website so we can prepare better

Pod location, instructions were all good, also the adventure parc was just beside the pods, loads of private parking. Our pod heating wasn't working and i tried different options to see if it starts working, no luck. I tried contacting the emergency staff who works at the next hotel, the staff said they are very busy and will try and come to check. We went along with kids and cant imagine staying in a fridge like temp pod for whole night. It was a real nightmare for us. The staff didnt even bothered to come and check. Somehow the night passed, next day adventure parc was an amazing experience which is separately charge. I would return to the parc for kids play area but not for pod because horrendous experience the staff gave us.

On arrival we were pleased to find a cabin with toilets, a kettle and microwave close by. All correspondence before our arrival was clear and made getting into the pod simple. It was lovely and warm-almost too warm! The shower block is a short walk away with plenty of space. The facilities at Adventure Parc are super and we enjoyed a busy morning on our final day with staff going above and beyond to help our family. Had there been lots more people staying in the pods I think more kettles, microwaves and washing up facilities would be needed. It's more set up for visitors to use the on site cafe but we brought our fridge and used the microwave to eat so no issues. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to friends.

On arriving at the site it took us a little bit of time to local the pod. We weren’t aware that there wasn’t parking closer to the pods and had a disabled wheelchair user who found it difficult to get to. Also it took us many journeys back and forth in order to empty car of all our gear. After setting up we tried to cook ourselves a meal but got stopped from using our camping stove. I understand that it says no open fire pits or bbq’s but this was a normal camping stove under very close supervision. We then tried to settle down for the night but had our sleep disturbed by a large group arrive at 12.25 making a lot of noise trying to find their pods.. On the second night we were again disturbed by drunkenness and rowdy behaviour from others around us. Some of which were smoking from a shesha pipe. This isn’t what we would expect from a place like this. Luckily we weren’t staying onsite during the day time as we were only using it as a base to sleep and to travel from for kayak slalom races in Bala.

I wasn’t going to leave a bad review, as I know it can be bad for business. Instead I raised a complaint through my travel provider, they contacted adventure parc to investigate. Unfortunately I didn’t get as much as an apology from adventure parc, so have decided to review. Our pod was full of mould, during the wet weather, rainwater seeped through the wood. I noticed mould high up on arrival but didn’t notice the mould at low level where I slept until the morning, by then we were checking out, so too late to raise the issue on site, instead decided to do it once home. Our clothes were moist, I struggled breathing as the conditions worsened my asthma. It seems adventure parc do not care about their customers health, and did not have the decency to accept their failure. I would not recommend staying here.
