    We stayed in the Residence section next to the main hotel. The unit had a bedroom, living room/kitchen table, and 3/4 kitchen. It was a half-mile walk to the beach - an amazing beach akin to the Jersey Shore without the honky tonk - great sand, warm water (similar to Florida or Caribbean). The beach was a very pleasant surprise. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance, including a grocery/wine/beer store. The only negative is one that we found at the two other hotels we stayed at this trip - over firm (hard) mattresses. Another possible negative depending on your perspective is that hotel staff and nearby restaurant staff speak and understand English poorly. That said, we got by just fine, thanks to their patience and good humor. We never made it to the amazing looking pool in the pictures.

    Une partie des chambres ne sont pas rénovées. Elles sont anciennes et peu confortables. Le prix est élevé par rapport aux prestations. S’agissant du service, certaines personnes sont accueillantes et efficaces, d’autres sont désagréables. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas aux standards internationaux.

    Vi havde booket ‘hotel’ overnatninger i familie bungalow - og det viste sig, at det var et stykke fra det ‘fine’ hotel, som vi så på billederne. Der var et helt andet hotel imellem hotel og bungalow. Det eneste man havde tilfælles var pool, som var det eneste, der var ok! Ingen rengøring eller nye håndklæder i 14 dage. Det kostede 35 euro pr. dag, hvis man ville have det!! Vi føler os ført bag lyset af de fine billeder, vi har set. Aldrig har vi boet så dyrt så dårligt. Området er rigtig dårligt....

    Meget dyr campingoplevelse på 4stjernet hotel

    Vi bookede juniorsuiten. Det viste sig at den lå i en anden bygning 100 m fra hotellet. Der lå et andet hotel ind i mellem. Når man booker juniirsuiten får man det indtryk at det er en del af hotellet. Standarden var langt under de billeder som man ellers ser af hotellet. Og det viser sig at man hverken har rengøring eller skift af håndklæder. Det er campingstandard man får, blot til en meget dyr pris. Wifi virkede ikke halvdelen af tiden og når det virkede var det meget dårligt. Man kunne ikke anvende wifi i hele lejligheden. Så svagt signal var der. Receptionen var meget arrogante ifm vores klager over standarden. Vi prøvede deres morgenmadsbuffet en enkelt morgen, men den var mildest talt kedelig. Slet ikke pengene værd. Alt hvad man ønsker skal man betale for. Der er ingen service inkluderet på trods af at det er et dyrt hotel. Og det eneste de har er et poolområde som er ok. Dog er de meget hurtigt over gæsterne hvis man plasker lidt og leger, som børn nu gør. Bestemt ikke et familiehotel. Hold jer væk fra juniorsuiten og hotellet hvis I er en familie

    Superbe coup d'oeil

    Arrivés un dimanche soir en juillet avec une crainte, celui des mariages du sud de l'Italie, ces derniers se déroulant souvent dans les beaux hôtels, comme lu sur divers sites. Effectivement, le dimanche deux mariages dans chacune des deux salles, mais vers 22h tout le monde pliait bagage. Mardi fin de pm, nouveau mariage, discret, mais du monde autour de la piscine et personne n'ose s'immiscer le long. Petit groupe musical (donc on en profite tout de même) à l'instar des autres, terminé vers 22h. Accueil malgré tout très sympa, personnel du bar (deux relativement jeunes) hyper souriant, donc très bonne impression malgré ces mariages (on ne se sentait pas exclus). Très bonnes chambres et aucune gêne sonore provenant des voisins (contrairement à d'autres hôtels italiens). Vaste piscine (!), pas adapté aux enfants en bas âge toutefois car pas de petit bassin ni jeux autour (probablement noté sur le site). Très calme autour de la piscine car "petit" hôtel. De manière générale, sauf pour ce qui concerne les fêtes qui pourraient indisposer certaines personnes, super hôtel avec terrasse hyper jolie et personnel très agréable. A 3 km de Pasteum, différent de Pompéi, quasi 2 heures de Positano (côte amalfitaine). Aéroport de Naples à 1h30. Mer à 10 min max à pied (en ligne droite de l'hôtel), navette proposée entre certaines heures pour les plus âgés. Chris & Fred de Verviers/Belgique
