Strange bathroom/shower layout but still wothwhile
The room was quite clean, bed was comfy and it's near the station and covered car park. Less than 20 minutes walking to the city centre and there is a free van at the station. The only problem is that the shower is in the middle of the room and not in the bathroom itself which may be a bit embarrassing if you are not a couple.

Great base for seeing Bruges
Comfortable, clean and a good location, right by the station (for visits to Gent etc) and easy walking distance to Bruges city and lovely, tourist-free canal walk round the edge. Room was small but perfectly fine for us. We had some problems finding the hotel initially (could signage be improved?) and with parking (station carpark is conveniently nearby but we had problems getting in and getting out! Not the hotel's fault but they could be more aware of the difficulties first-time users can have).

I liked the room set up for 1 person. It was very close to the train station and grocery store. Walkable to a few good restaurants. It is challenging to find it though. The elevator next to the grocery store was not working. The vending machine was out of beer. The vending machine for coffee was broken. I wasn’t allowed to buy a coffee from the breakfast buffet or just get one complimentary due to their machine malfunction. That was annoying.
