Although this is in the centre of Evora, right at the start of the square, in a medieval town with limited traffic, the amount of traffic driving past our windows seemed to be quite high, and was therefore somewhat noisier then we first thought it would be. As it was winter, once the doors were shut there were no problems! You can park just up from the main door (hard to find though), to unload. Then the car has to be moved to one of the parking areas (free). This is a 5-10min walk from the accommodation. So no problem. Our bedroom was very spacious, but the bathroom definitely wasn't. Our friends bathroom next door was twice the size, so remember that no two rooms are alike. Apart from that, everything was great and breakfast certainly worth partaking of. Our host recommended several restaurants to us, and one, the vegetarian Salsa Verde, was a cracker. Even the non vegetarians thought it was fabulous. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We were welcomed to the inn, and offered complimentary Port in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and attentive, helping us with restaurant recommendations when the place we wanted to go was booked full. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Located right next to the main square. One of our favourite rooms on our trip to Portugal!

Noisy up to 1am because many bars and restaurants are right below hotels’ windows

It is well located, right in the middle of the town. The inn has no elevator and guests have to climb flights of stairs. The room is spacious for three people but washroom is a bit of dirty especially a shower. Overall they offer very good service.
