Great place to stay for the price! would be back!
Good place to stay and quiet. Just like a little bachelor apartment with washer, small kitchen and comfortable bed. Front desk can speak English very helpful and polite. hey change your towels daily but don't do the bed when you're there. Not a problem for me.

Very Good 8.0
Not the cleanest but good room and location.
Staff were nice enough but didnt really interact with them to comment further. I was allowed to leave my bags with them before check in and they put them in my room for me, so that was helpful. The room was great, had everything i needed and more however, i was staying for 12 days and only had one washing machine tablet for clothing, they perhaps should provide more depending on a person's length of stay as it wasnt great, i had to buy washing detergent. The apartment was pretty dusty also, definitely wasnt cleaned to a great standard at all so needs to improve. An extra set of towels would have been helpful also for the length of stay. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were rough and lumpy so i never had a good nights sleep the whole time but the bed was a great size and coyld easily fit 2 people. All the negatives stated, i would still stay again as the room was perfect and location was excellent. Few minute walk to the subway and just over 10 minutes to Shibuya station, not far at all. Supermarket right opposite hotel plus conbinis, restaurants and cafes all nearby.

Very decent hotel in shibuya area
It was a really a quite pleasing experience staying with tokyu stay shibuya. Although most of the staffs do not speak english, sometimes its a struggle to communicate with them, but they try their best to accomodate my family and i. I stay in the triple room type with small kitchen and washing machine inside. It was really convenient also because there is a small supermarket right across the hotel. The downside maybe its just the distance from the hotel to the train station. Other than that, everything else was quite wonderful.

Pictures are a bit deceiving about how tiny the rooms are. No storage or closet space to put baggage, so no room to move around with multiple people in the room.

Very nice hotel, very big rooms for Tokyo.
Great hotel. Our room was very spacious and had a washer/dryer in the room. Really clean room, comfortable bed, lots of space to move around. Quiet street. No noise at night. Conveniently located close to Shibuya train station. Only a 7mins walk. A little bit harder to get to the hotel from the train station with suitcases as you will have to roll them up and down the street. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again if/when I go back to Tokyo. The wifi was fast but would stop working for 30mins or so, and then would go back on.

The Good and The Bad
The staff tried their best to assist; however, there is the language barrier. When I got to my room, after a very long wait (because the policy is that you cannot access the room before 3:00 p.m. or you need to book the night before, the bathroom was still dirty. I informed to front desk and was told that they could not move me until the following day. Imagine that I had a choice to make, as it was hot, I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself, and declined the offer to move. This location has balconies but those were unkept, dusty and found bottles left by others on the balcony. The location, on the other hand, was very good and close to everything.

Centrally located apartmen
Some staffs could be a bit understanding and relax the rule for early check-in without penalty for international tourist after a tiring overnight flight. Room furnishing is a bit dated and worn out kitchen facilities. Location is excellent amongst nice little streets in Shibuya. Very convenient for airport bus.

Ganbatte Tokyu
I think overall, it is a good place, but the vent from which the AC enters the room looked moldy - I meant to tell the staff, but I had too tight a schedule. I think foreigners need to look into finding a two prong adapter for the outlets if their computer has 3 prong, for example. I think Tokyu needs to try to look at all their air ducts - at least in Tokyu Stay Hotel and Tokyu Excel Shibuya which I have stayed at both. . . .they have so much going for them with location and concept - needs more cleaning detail for health purposes.
