Kamares Apartments

My husband my Sister and myself stayed in these amazing apartments for 6 nights. The views were breathtaking the apartments the apartments without a doubt made our holiday. Beds comfortable the unit was very clean and serviced everyday. Staff were great helpful friendly and polite. Maria and Dimitrios are excellent. The apartments area 5 mineral away from Fira town and many restaurants. Supermarket 5 mins walk down the road. Perfect spot to come back to in the afternoon for a quiet relax in the hot tub. Highly recommend these apartments. We have absolutely no complaints only praise.

Great views and quiet even though it’s just a couple minute walk to most lively part of Santorini. Perfect location. Hotel room was big and clean. Outdoor area was amazing. Little table and super comfy lounge chairs. The “hot tub” was awesome as it had temperature control so it was more of a cool tub which was great in the July heat!!

Due to the bad weather (mediterranean hurricane), the rain water seeped into my room. The staff resolved the issue swiftly and efficiently. They upgraded my room to a higher grade with hydro massage bathtub The best sunset can be viewed at Kamares. It was also at Kamares that I saw the most incredible double rainbow (see photos)

So happy with our choice to stay here. In comparison to some other similar places with a caldera view I would say it is very good value. We couldn’t fault it. It is clean, spacious, very well maintained, the views are to die for and the staff were all friendly and lovely. Maria on reception deserves a special mention but all staff were wonderful, from the guy who cleans your hot tub and puts your umbrella up and down every day to the lady cleaner who delivers your breakfast with a smile and cleans and changes towels every day. Location wise It’s one of the final accommodations at the top end of the busy caldera edge of hotels etc which means it is quiet but within 2 minutes you are amongst the start of the restaurants. What you don’t realise until you get there is because of the different levels along the caldera edge there is a massive lack of privacy, so you could be sunbathing on your terrace or by your pool that you’ve probably paid a lot of money for and the 100s of tourists walking along the top could be looking down on you. This wasn’t the case at Kamares. Although the terraces aren’t totally private as depending on when yours is then it may be en route to another apartment below BUT the only people who can see you are other residents. We only really ever saw our immediate next door neighbours. I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again. Plus major added bonus of a car park if you hire a car. And v comfy bed!

It’s one of the best areas where you get the view without the crowd, it’s near the main bus terminal and the staff are extremely helpful!
