I always had love this hotel, for the last 32 years I have been visiting once or times at year. This year the elevator was broken when arrive and by the second still not fixed by the second week. the staff is wonderful to carry your bags, but to get up and down several times from the upper floors can be exhausting. I love this hotel , but this time because summer vacation maybe was difficult to fix things.

The housekeeper was very rude did not clean the room in timely manner, when we check out I feel like we try to steel the remote control. We do not have the necessity to still any remote control. This time the staff did not was friendly at all they where rushing us specially the housekeeping.

Positives: 1.Location by the foreshore. 2..The Housekeeper on my 2nd Level was very pleasant. Negatives: 1.Unfriendliness of the staff and their sense of ambivalence towards quests. 2.As a non-Mexican there was a hint of being made to feel unwelcome. 3.The lift was broken and having to use the stairwell was too much. 4.Wifi:did not work.If it did, it functioned for a few seconds and then cut out.Hence, using WhatsApp was impossible to make international phone calls.

It’s located sort of central. You can take a 15 minute walk to the historic center of Veracruz, which is beautiful and vibrant at night. The hotel was ok for the price paid. We stayed for 9 days. After the 4th day they moved us to a different room one floor down because they had to fumigate the whole floor. I didn’t see any pests, but I guess that’s something they do from time to time to avoid having plagues. IF you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep at night, this hotel is NOT it at all. Every night teens or kids running up and down the halls shouting, loudly knocking on doors, and such. Staff was friendly, parking was convenient.
