We had a good stay, service was wonderful, food was superb, staffs were friendly especially Tony and Fernando at the conseirge. Our only concern is the room smell and water not flowing well at the bathroom when you have your bath
Stay was in Jan 2021 - This is my 15th or so visit to Mexico and I must say...this was my worst experience. I was just really disappointed in the level of service this time. The Good - Really CLEAN and they make sure they take every precaution during covid. Kudos to the resort for that. The food was a bit below average BUT they did a great job with food service, safety and food was plentiful. The Bad - Most of the staff I was really disappointed with. Check in process...lady at the desk wasn't very nice and it was like we were bothering her. She obviously hated her job. Room was small, but efficient and bathrooms were decent size. Our fridge didn't work...and they never fixed it. Our light would not shut off in the room...never fixed. We paid for the upgraded ocean front room only to get a room with a small window and no balcony. It wasn't horrible, but I would never stay here again. if you have experienced other resorts you will be quite disappointed with this one. The bars and liquor selection is pretty bad (even for a Cancun all inclusive) and the buffet is below average at best. We regret going here because we ended up paying the same price for a hotel that was obviously much lower than rated on Hotels.com. Do yourself a favor and save the disappointment. You can get much more from another option for the same or even less expensive price. Do not book here :(
Our experience was great and we enjoyed the property! Only downside for us was the food. Definitely mediocre. 3 out of 5. Some meals were great, others were very bland.
lot of options on where to eat, most of the food was exceptional and gotta love eating next to the beach. the room was very nice and a very comfortable bed. went to the show one night and.....no show...don't know what was up with that. also needs a better explanation of "formal attire" in writing for the Italian restaurant I got rejected twice...not cool!
Clean and very friendly staff. Would stay here again.
The front office staff shouted at me. The service was really bad— probably the worst I ever had. Also no social distancing, I asked if we can eat outside since I am not feeling safe to eat indoor. The staff was looking at me and it seems I was the Greek of having so many issues. Loll overall experience was pretty bad
It was our first time in Cancun, and at this hotel and we had a blast. Our kids enjoy every minute of our vacation. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive to all our need. Javier and Mitchell were great at breakfast and dinner! very attentive to our needs. Over all it is a great place to stay and will definitely come back again!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Eduardo and Jaysen were both awesome and really made the stay memorable, they both went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food here was excellent, if you stay here I highly recommend doing the entree dining rather than the buffet. We have stayed at higher end all inclusives and we both agreed the food here was much better. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
When I checked into the property I was notified about GR Caribe closing because of Covid-19. If I would’ve been privy to this information prior to arriving I would’ve opted to stay at another resort. The food was terrible. You could tell they were trying to save every penny possible. I would have rather paid more money for better food. Room service ran out of French fries . How do you run out of French fries? I wouldn’t recommend staying at this resort unless you want processed food and watered down drinks.
Many pools. Lots of restaurant options. Good entertainment. And gym.
