Poor 2.0
This was our hotel splurge for our last day in Italy. We reserved a private bath with breakfast in an air-conditioned room in a highly rated hotel in Venice. We were informed at check in that the free breakfast started at 9:30. (Really!?!) We had to be at the airport at 9:00 so we lost that extra investment in the room. The WiFi was so slow that it was practically non-existent. But the worst was yet to come. The next morning, we found bugs in the bed. We googled "bedbugs" and found pictures of the bugs which were crawling around in the bed and on the walls. The sheets had spots of smeared blood on them from the bugs. I caught several on a bandage to show the management, but they had to know about the infestation given the number of bugs that I caught in the 30 minutes that it took us to evacuate the room. There is no on site reception, so we left without being able to talk to anyone about the problem in person. I used the Orbitz Conversations to contact the hotel. There was no response after more than a week.

Poor 2.0
Horrible experience
I should highlight that it was a very bad experience. I was travelling to Venice from Zurich by train with my family (wife and 2 small kids). We took the water bus from the Santa Lucia station. When we reached the hotel the guy at the reception told that a message was sent to us that we have been shifted to a place which is 10 mins walk from that place and the message was sent to inform on that by a lady names Ottavia. I checked the phone and found it was sent on the morning of that day. There was no network connecting in Zurich because Lebara UK do not support Switzerland and I didn't got the message. The guy at the reception was also not sure why the message was sent so late. He gave us the direction which was quite complicated because of the streets of venice. Nobody took us to the new location and we have to walk all the way to the accommodation and it was a terrible experience because we have to cross numerous bridges and climb up and down steps with luggage. We called Ottavia but nobody answered. We had to wait helplessly on the streets. Luckily she messaged back after quite some time. The responses from her for other queries were also too late. Also she told that we will get back the city tax which is not yet received. The experience is too bad and not a suitable place to stay for tourists in-spite of good location.

Near to Rialto Bridge. Very convenient. Quiet corner in busy area

Exceptional 10.0
Very friendly staff
Great location, room cleaned daily, extremely hot - aircon wasn't working, no signal for tv or internet despite the wi fi - just overall network too slow coverage. Additional city tax is €5 ppn per night, not the advertised €2. Breakfast very modest in a restaurant over the other side of rialto bridge and from 10am - not very convenient as it breaks the visit of museums. Next door cafe - fantastic food and service

Poor 2.0
Horrible experience since I arrived, the place is in bad shape, the guy who did my check in was not in the place and arrived later on, when he came he was with an attitude and treating us really bad, I was charged extra fees with out an explanation or proof of what I was paying and if we didn’t like it he was so rude to tell us to leave somewhere else. I never had such a bad experience such as this one. I do not recommend this place to anyone, it’s overpriced for the conditions the building is in. Bathroom was shared, not private. Tv didn’t work. Storage is a little room where anyone can open it and steal the luggage, I was not comfortable with leaving my luggage there but had no other option. Bathroom has black mold in the ceiling. No one is ever there in a front desk.

A family should think twice sharing a bathroom
Local area is great, only 3-5 minutes to Realto bridge. We received emails in detail as to how to get there, so we could find it, otherwise it would have been hard to find as the entrance is hidden beyond the dark alley. Venice is an expensive city so the price of this hotell was reasonable. However, a family of four sharing bathroom with another family was not comfortable. レアルト橋から徒歩3〜5分とロケーションは最高ですが、建物への入り口が暗い路地の奥なので見つけにくいです。バスルームが共同だったので家族4人で他の家族と共同というのはちょっと考えものでした。
