Great stay! Highly recommended
Great hotel, Definitely staying here when I am back. Perfect location between banff and Calgary. I didn’t want to stay in banff because of the hotel prices but I am glad I didn’t because this hotel was super nice and it’s only 15 minutes away from banff center. The staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable to the point that I wouldn’t have gotten out of my girlfriend wasn’t dragging me out each morning and great location in a beautiful town. Also there’s deer or moose that live around town so you’ll get to see a huge pack of them just roaming around

Over all a decent stay. Beds aren't the most comfortable. Nicely updated but sound proofing not the best.

Locals away for a race weekend
We are a local Alberta family away for a weekend of racing at the Nordic Centre. Rooms are clean and tidy, if i was extra picky then a tip would be for the house keeping to be extra vigilant around previous guests spilling drinks. Front of house in the main is very welcoming, just spoilt by one individual that thought it was best to quote policy and push payment faults onto us as the guests rather than taking on a professional conversation. Take care when booking - full payment is taken before you arrive.

4/10 Fair

First of all, the hotel was small but very nice. Looked new. Appreciated the air conditioning. I was so tired I barely heard the train right behind the hotel. Comfy bed. The problem started at check in. 6 of us had just completed a 4 day bike tour from Jasper. It was an extremely hot day. We were exhausted, sweaty in spandex, hungry, thirsty and would have died for a shower and nap. The man insisted the rooms were not clean. This was an outright lie. We sat in an open area upstairs from 2 to 4. Not one staff member was in our hallway the whole two hours. A cleaning cart was out on the opposite side for about 5 minutes until she put the cart away. I even slid a piece of paper under the door to my room at 2 pm. They had the locks programed to open exactly at 4 pm. (The paper was there in the middle of the floor when we finally got in). I realize 4 pm was check in time, but I have NEVER stayed at a hotel that would not let you in early if the room was clean. Instead of lying that the room was not cleaned, he could have said they have a strict policy that no one could enter their room until exactly 4 pm, no exceptions, even for heat stroke. So I would call this a hotel without a heart.

Frosted glass on bottom half of windows would have allowed us to enjoy the amazing views of the mountains. (Instead of closed blinds hiding the view of the carpark).
