It Is what it is.
When checking in, we were told we needed to change our rooms rather than the room we booked due to some international students quarantining on our floor (concerning). However the lady working there required us to pay the difference because it’s a bigger room. Though it was not even optional- she suggested we pay in cash to avoid taxes (also abit concerning). The room was OK, though in the bathroom I saw a crawly bug on multiple occasions and on the second night, the whole elevator and room smelled of smoke for some reason (probably from another guest). Overall experience was OK but you get what you pay for. Good that there is free parking I guess.

Being renovated, not welcoming at all.
It is not a hotel, it is under reconstruction. No reception, no breakfast. You only get let in if the builders see you and call someone. Avoid!

Enjoyed: -Quiet, peaceful, old building -Decor' was pretty dated, which I found charming -Staff took a lot of effort to ensure social distancing and cleanliness for guests, and were generally friendly. -Across the street from a bus stop/20min walk to the metro Disliked: -Never saw any staff at all during my stay, which was a little concerning -Free breakfast was advertised but not provided. Understandable given the situation, but I would've liked to have known so I could prepare. -Checkin was complicated and awkward. Maybe send an email with all the rules/instructions and so on, or a print out in the room, it was hard to remember some things, and awkward to ask, since there didn't seem to really be any staff on site at all. Would stay here again over all. Doing their best in this pandemic!

Exceptional 10.0
The location was perfect. Easy access to bus and Metro. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Shahrzad in particular was extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely come back.

I stayed there three nights. The second day when i came back to my room my door was unlocked, nothing was missing but still dissapointing. The smell of something that seems to be an air freshner was super intense. The overall cleanliness of the room wasnt on point but the bed was confortable. Parking lot was very convenient. Quiet place.
