The hotel is located right in the heart of vail. The staff was so very friendly and welcoming. The property was fantastic. We were all pleasantly surprised by the rooms and balconies. I had seen several mixed reviews before booking, but honestly we really enjoyed the spacious layout and overall atmosphere. It is an old hotel. But hotel more than makes up for it with its rich history, charm, and outstanding central location. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful property right in the heart of the village. Front desk was very nice and helpful at check-in. It is an older property, no AC but there was a large fan in the room which was nice. Slept with the windows open which was relaxing to hear the trickle from the creek all night, it was a warm summer night but pleasant. Room and bathroom were large! Steam room, hot tubs, sauna, gym, all seemed very nice. We didn't use but it would be nice to use the hot tubs in the winter after skiing all day. Would definitely recommend!

This is an incredible place to stay! You are steps from Gondola one. Pepi’s bar with live music every day is right there on property. We had a huge deck off of our room for enjoying the outdoors. The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning had tons of variety! The staff was so helpful! And for avail, and for being right in the middle of all the action, the price per night was fair.
