The staff were very helpful. The room had great views and location fabulous. The bathroom however was not very clean and would have only taken a few minutes to clean thoroughly (grout in shower). The carpets in the corridor were very stained, dirty and floors in areas were sagging. The main floor is very beautiful but the rest of the hotel does not reflect that

I am so glad we chose to stay in Haarlem instead of Amsterdam. Haarlem is a beautiful town full of flavor, culture and friendly people. The location of this hotel is excellent. You are perfectly situated in the middle of the action. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast delicious. I originally started out in a church view room, but it was extremely loud due the the abundance of busy cafes on the street. The next morning the staff was happy to move me to a room in the back which was much quieter. The beds felt clean and comfortable, but the rest of the room/bathroom were a little worn. Overall, I thought it was great for the price

Location could not be better, right in front of the oldest church and market square. Hotel lobby is very nicely decorated and reception Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is nice and clean. Bed is very comfortable. Only downside: no air conditioning in the room. We had to keep the window open. Overall extremely good value for money.

The location is excellent (in the town center) and everything was within walking distance including the train station. The room good and it was quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of museums and heritage sites near by as well as restaurants and pubs. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
