Nice area
I gave a high score to this hotel, but I wouldn't stay there again. Main reason - the pillows are flat and are very uncomfortable. Wi-fi was spotty, and the room was very tight. There are plenty of hotels in Tokyo in the same price range with more comfortable rooms. Pro's: very nice area with lots of restaurants, and a short walk to the subway. The breakfast was delightful.

Too small
Most affordable hotels in Japan have small rooms, but APA has to be one of the smallest for the price. I've been traveling to Japan for around 9 years, and I've stayed in many hotels. I think this will be my last stay at an APA hotel. Especially in the Akasaka-mitsuke area, there are other better options.

Exceptional10.0
Reasonable hotel in the heart of Tokyo.
The staff members were very kind and responded inquiries quickly. Very nice. The location is wonderful. In the middle of downtown Tokyo and 3 minutes walk to the subway station. Extremely convenient for business and sightseeing. The room was not big but acceptable taking into consideration the cost.

Convenient and comfortable
Not a large room. But practical, neat, and equipped with necessary items Price was reasonable and everything was cleaned and replaced everyday. No noise in spite of perfect location where everything is nearby such as convenience store, bar, restaurant, even the station. Great location if you want to tour many places in Tokyo since it is located in the kind of central part. You can see Tokyo tower form the hotel.
