Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa

The bathrooms are in desperate need of restoration. The photos they show of the rooms with the outdoor jacuzzi are not the rooms they give you. We felt like we were walking into a dungeon. They won’t give you a second key for the room, which is crazy with two people per room. They are very rigid at the desk and unfriendly. The hotel is out of the way but the beach is really nice (bring beach shoes-super rocky)

The hotel was nice, it had an amazing view. It was close to the beach and strip. It was nice having our own mini pool/jacuzzi. I just wish cleaning was more thorough. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I arrived at the hotel at 06:30am; check in wasn’t until 14:00, however the hotel kept the room empty the night before in anticipation of my early arrival at no extra cost to me. After travelling all night this was a welcome start to my holiday. The staff were tremendous in giving information and organising anything I asked for. A wonderful stay - I’ll definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was compact but had everything we needed, good aircon and nice view looking out to the sea. We took a kettle with us as we knew there weren’t any tea making facilities before we arrived, we borrowed fresh cups each morning from the restaurant. The room had a free safe and a fridge. The breakfast buffet was nice, a typical Greek buffet breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the pool area was lovely, we took a dip in the outdoor pool but being October it was a bit too cold to linger. Free towels and free sunbeds by the pool and on the beach out front, which was great. The hotel bar was very modern and trendy and played great music. We did not use the spa facilities.
