The noise from the construction next to the hotel was really very loud. It was from Monday to Saturday, before 8am to around 6:30pm. When I checked-in, the front desk never told me the noise problem until I complaint it. The room is old, I can see the mold on the wall. I stayed over 3 weeks which was big regret!

A couple of negatives...
I have been to the Butterfly on Wellington many times, and as always the service and room were exceptional. What let it down this time was, firstly, the 'Afternoon Tea Set' included in the price is just a few snacks- a small sausage roll and two small sweet pastries per person. Even the front desk was embarrassed when I requested the afternoon tea explaining 'well really its a snack.' I would say they should continue this, but manage people's expectations on it. Secondly, there were loud building works next to the hotel. This could be annoying if you want to be in the room during the day (incl. Saturday). I don't remember this being pointed out in any of my travel documents, which is wrong.

There are big construction undergoing very closed by the hotel. Nearly every morning before 8am, I have been awakening by the loud noise! So annoying! My stay was nearly one month. I can't believe the hotel never informed me the noise issue until i complained. So regret to book this hotel for long stay.
