Disappointed !!! I was expecting the same quality when I stayed here 2 years ago . But there has been a downturn since our last visit. From check in, the staff was not courteous. It was a put off to see the room cards to be put into a disinfectant container and the paper envelope in a separate container right in front of the check in desk on a foldable table . I mean there is already a glass barrier on the counter top, staff and the guests are all wearing mask . There is really no need to put an ugly piece of furniture the 2 Ft foldable table right in front of the checking counter.The ambiance in the lobby to the staff gave out feelings as if guests are infected with covid. Then the room itself was not so clean it had a bad odour and then even the towels were so thin and used out. The bedding had body odour smell . I guess only the sheets under the bedding is changed but the comforter which was also so thinner out is not changed after every stay . We had 3 rooms all those 3 rooms had the same issue. The checkout experience too was not friendly at all, the staff sat through looking down least bothered as guests were leaving . We stayed at Quattro Hotel on our way to Thunder Bay but on our return we stayed here at Fairfield Inn . Big difference at Quattro Hotel from the check in service, to the room and to the check out service were top notch. Will not stay at Fairfield Inn anymore .

Was very happy with everything. Wifi was great. Bagged breakfast was decent considering the current circumstances. No coffee maker in the room though and while they did have coffee in the lobby for all I would still prefer the coffee machine in my room. I understand the reasoning though.

This was a great hotel. Staff were very friendly upon check in and very helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Bathroom was nice and sower was powerful. Breakfast was bagged due to covid but was still tasty. Centrally located to restaurants and the trans canada hwy. Would defi itely stay again
