I stayed at hotel Aurora for 3 nights with my mum. We had the best stay, the beds were so comfy. The staff were amazing. The location was brilliant and the roof top area was an added bonus. Couldn’t fault breakfast either. I’d quite happily come back. Thank you hotel Aurora for a great stay.

This is a sweet small hotel right by the lakeside. It was very clean and well appointed. The included breakfast was really good. The room was comfortable and a decent size, with really lovely decor. My only negative is that the walls are quite thin (can hear toilets flushing, etc!) It’s a 20 minute walk downhill from the railway station (I think there are buses back up), and a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal to go anywhere on the lake.

Our new Euro 2-pin plugs only worked in 1 of the many electrical sockets which was a nuisance. The hotel sockets weren't the newest. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good varied breakfast. Short walk to the centre of Desenzano for the cafes, restaraunts and ferry to Sirmione.

Great location across the road from the lakeside promenade.Room was clean and tidy, nothing flashy, but perfect for our needs. Although described as a lake view and being just across the road from the lake trees obscured most of the view on our June visit but hey ho! Breakfast was lovely with a decent choice of continental with a changing mix of a few cooked items. An added bonus was the rooftop sun deck where you could also be served breakfast and if sunbathing you can also phone down to get drinks brought up,result! All the staff were nice, friendly and helpful.

Hotel Aurora is ideally situated on the Desenzano lakeside. The centre and harbour is a 5 minute walk in one direction and a beach area is 5 minutes in the other direction. The hotel has parking which is in short supply in this area. The hotel is clean, the room and bathroom were well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately due to trees that line the promenade, we could only see the lake through the trees. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Desenzano.
