8/10 Very good

It was a great space and the staff was helpful and accommodating. The noise was not a big deal, I just took out my hearing aids. The neighborhood seemed fun and safe to me. I wish I had more time to explore...

2/10 Poor

Read the reviews!
Read the reviews! And don’t stay here unless you plan on being downstairs partying until 2 am. Extremely loud music played until 2 am so we could not sleep. Then very early in the morning people were up slamming doors and being very loud in the halls, would not recommend this place.

8/10 Very good

pretty good!!
pro: centrally located, secured entrance, clean (but small) room, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. cons: we were warned about the loud noises from the bar downstairs which we thought would be tolerable since we are both night owels, and the music did stop sometime between 11pm-12midnight, but we weren't happy that the next morning the banging music started at 7:23am!!! that's just unacceptable!!! also cons: definitely need more lights in the room above one of the mirrors: there is one mirror in the bathroom and another one at the vanity/coffee table/desk. But neither has a light nearby so we couldn't see well at all when trying to put on make ups (we wear light make ups only but still....we just couldn't see without light).

4/10 Fair

Couldn't sleep because of the noise!
Room is fine, staff is fine and breakfast is included and delicious. But you need to know it's over a bar and loud music is to be expected until 12-1 in the morning. We chose to be ok with that even if we were not aware of it before our stay. Our main problem was that the hotel allowed party all night. There was loud music, doors slapping, people talking so loud and fighting for hours. We almost didn't sleep... So everyone else in the hotel that night, as we can hear at breakfast time. We called the reception, so did many others, but it changed nothing. Very desappointing since we are on a packpacking trip and one night with no sleep will affect a big part of our trip. When we choose to pay 160$ for a good night sleep, we expect that we are going to have a good night sleep.

If you like sleep, look elsewhere
Noise levels outside are unbearable, and this was a Monday night. Kept awake until after 2am. Windows do little to insulate against outside noise.
