The staff really could do with being a little more friendly. Very slow at stocking up the breakfast area. The bedroom furniture draws don't close and the bathroom lock has the lock on the outside? Making the room look a little unloved. Other than that it's perfect location for romford and train station and reasonable value for money.

Please include information about the amenities on the website. We were unaware that this property does not have air conditioning in the selected rooms; it is not mentioned anywhere; after sorting the options with AC, I received this option. We eventually paid more to get the AC rooms. Otherwise, this property is budget-friendly and a good in choice.

Terrible accommodation
On first impressions we thought this looks nice when booking in. Only to be told we were in a block type apartment hotel on the other side of road. Old fashioned, dated, kettle faulty, shower falling apart, light missing on wall, but of course there is no legal requirement for PAT testing so take your own chances. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles with things arriving later etc. Parking was a bit hit or miss. We came back at 11.30 and they had to find us parking in a church type place down the road. Never worth the money we paid over £145/night.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone I like
Wow what can I say? Please don’t stay here unless you need to. We booked it due to needing to be in London and not wanting to pay a lot. Good points. It’s cheap. Bus stop is within 2 minute walk. You appreciate your own home when you get back! Bad points. The staff are over worked and understaffed. The bedroom is slanted. The trouser press is fastened to the wall on the p*ss. The shower leaked and the ‘maid’ said she needed to check the shower so we wrongly thought she meant the leak. She didn’t. There is only one double plug under the tv. The kettle is on a shelf but the flex isn’t long enough so you have to move it to use it. The sugar and tea etc are on the opposite side of the room? There are two showers in the bath, the original having long since broken so they just put in another to the side of it. It’s described as a bar and restaurant. It has neither. Well it does but you can’t get a beer unless you go to reception and they serve you or draft and little choice of what they did have. The restaurant was only open for breakfast too! I’d suggest if you want a cheap night away with no thrills this is the one for you. If you want comfort please look elsewhere
