The perfect stay. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation. The room was comfortable, clean and so adorable. The people could not have been more accommodating. Great breakfast as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend in Dublin
What a great place. Check-in with the bar-keep, he checks for your name in a handwritten reservation book, he hands you the keys, and you step back in time to a wonderful victorian-feeling hotel that is the perfect venue for a weekend in Dublin. Clean, nostalgic, simple, value, and wonderful!

Great hospitality
The family room (across the road from the pub) was a lovely surprise- we thought we'd booked three beds in one room but it turned out to be three separate rooms. There was plenty of space and privacy for our group of a mother, daughter and family friend. Nicely furnished with a modern bathroom. Breakfast in the main building was delicious and all the staff really helpful and hospitable. Just a few minutes walk from TCD, this was a great base for exploring Dublin.

Clean and nice, and in the buzz of the city centre
Nice staff, clean and orderly room & breakfast area, situated right in the middle of everything & easy to get to via airport busses. Head-pillows & beds fairly hard, but that's the only negative.

It was hard to know where to go. You went to a locked door and rang the bell but no one answered so I went into the bar and talked to the bar tender and he checked me in in-between customers. Just not customer service oriented. No lift and a LOT of stairs. Large clean room. Average beds. We had to figure out the wifi and other things on our own because there was no attendant. Breakfast was decent but the guy who cooked it was rude. It was not a cheap room so it was disappointing to not have decent service. Good location.
