Great condo for a great price! Spacious and quite comfortable. Has everything you need, but bring your own condiments if you plan on cooking! Also, floors could have used a better cleaning, but everything else seemed very clean. Amenities were also very nice, but they are not on site. Lots of hiking in the area and quite beautiful. Would definitely visit again!

    Great for the price
The cabins were comfortable for a family of 5. Everything was clean. They are nice and cozy, they could use an updating, but for the price it was pretty ok.

Won't be using Fox Hunt townhouses again
As soon as we checked into our unit we discovered there was no cell service. Even with Wi-Fi assist (there first has to be some service) we could not get or make calls. We called the front desk to ask why this information is not disclosed - afterall, in 2017 people do expect to be able to us a cell phone. The response was to drive into Cashiers and go to the Ingles parking lot where we could then retrieve our messages!!! As a former property owner in Sapphire Valley we never had an issue with cell service until this trip. We were also bothered all day by two barking dogs, actually one barked and the other one howled - and they didn't stop until the sun went down. The photos in Hotels.com show a unit on the lake - NOT!! Terribly dishonest and misleading to say the least. In addition to that, the unit was deep down a steep slope with over 35 steps each way - yes, I counted them. We could not recommend Fox Hunt Townhouses to anyone when there are so many other (better) choices in Sapphire Valley.

    A Little Nice Eclipse Weekend
The mountains were beautiful. The cloud cover obscured the eclipse. The town homes were nice and clean but a little dated. My only gripe was the amenities worth participating in cost additional money like boating. Additionally, if your looking for a diverse place Sapphire, NC is not it. Although the locals were friendly there was many stares and curious looks. Bring your own food as the units have a full kitchen and you will save money that way. We never ate out during our stay as I packed frozen meat, vegetables, juices and snacks in our SUV for the stay. In other words, you have a kitchen so use it. Over all I might return if I could fly in to Asheville Airport as driving from Jersey was 653 miles one way.
