Kew Green Wan Chai Good Choice for our Stay
The hotel is in a relatively quiet neighborhood of Hong Kong with good access to transportation ( between 2 metro stations, Admiralty and Wan Chai) and lots of bus and tram routes. You can walk to the Harbor including the Star Ferry terminal, pier 8 and the AIA amusement park located in Tamar Park in about 25-35 minutes as well. The A11 bus from the airport which cost HK$40 stops almost exactly in front of the hotel and the return bus is a short 3 minute walk away. This is by far the most economical way to get to and from the airport. Definitely buy an octopus card which can be used on all forms of transit except for cabs. For those 65 and over the card is half price. You have to pay a HK$ 50 dollar deposit but the deposit and any remaining balance is refundable at the airport excluding a HK$9 service charge. There aren't many restaurant choices on the same street as the hotel but if you walk around to other streets you will find them. The concierge at the hotel is very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Thank you Amir for your suggestions!! Breakfast at the hotel was very good with many choices but a bit on the expensive side ( HK$303 for two) so we opted to eat there only on one of the 3 days we stayed there. Hotel staff was courteous and the room was clean and two bottles of water supplied daily. Each room also has a phone which can be used to provide wifi hotspots while out and about and free calls to the US . There is a fitness room which we did not use.

Great location and free phone with internet
Very close to MTR, slept on a high floor - the room was quiet, they give to each room a telephone with unlimited internet so you can use it as a hot spot to your devices anywhere in hong kong- it is great!!

Hong Kong break (9 days)
Excellent hotel for a city break. Quick check in by Queenie & Rik. Lovely smiles, and very friendly. The room was clean tidy & functional. They did have more luxurious room, but the basic suited us fine. We booked room only so cannot comment on breakfast, although other guests said it was OK. The hotel is conveniently situated in Wan Chai but on a busy road, so I understand some of the rooms are a bit noisy lower down. We where on the 14th floor at the back, very peaceful & quiet. Bo the concierge is an asset to the hotel and kept us in the right direction every day. The staff, from the duty managers down make the hotel a pleasure to stay.

Poor front desk services, rooms not match booking
One of the receptionists (white male foreigner) was extremely aggressive at our check-in. He gave me an empty form to sign claiming that he'd fill out all the details once I sign. He didn't even let me read any of the text, constantly just pointing at the line at the bottom of the page where it says to sign, and then proceeded to act the same way with a different paper to my daughter. One of the forms stated that the hotel could charge a maximum of 2000 HKD for any damage done. Once we entered our rooms, we found that they did not match our booking. The reception explained that since it's run of house there's no guarantee on what we'll get – although this is written on the reservation and it's more of hotels.com's fault. Overall, I expected much better service from this hotel.
