3 nights in Galway
We felt very welcome from the time we stepped in the door. Erin was super friendly, knowledgable and informative. All staff we encountered were friendly especially Jasmin and Ewan who works in the attached bar 1520. Our king sized room was spacious and clean. We overlooked the street with a small balcony. Would definitely stay again. Within in the Spanish quarter and walking distance to Eyre Square and the Salthills. Live music nightly at 1520 so expect a bit of noise, didn't stop us from sleeping at all.

Sleepless in Galway
This hotel is over a pub that becomes a nightclub at night. Music ended at 11:30 pm during the week but on Friday and Saturday it did not end until 2:30 am and even though were two floors up and our friends there floors up, it was so loud we felt like we were in the club. Our floor was vibrating and you could literally hear every bit of the music and the loud crowd inside the pub which was packed full of people partying. We called to asked if they could lower the music slightly and they said they could do nothing about it. I would not recommend staying here….

It was a lovely room but very hot so had a disturbed nights sleep. Good location with parking a very short walk away. Lift was being repaired while we were there so was out of order.
