Stayed for one night. Cheap and cheerful for what we needed. Other than the shower leaking all over the bathroom floor everything was fine. Bed was comfy and it’s a convenient location for the city and the Airlink/transport system

The place was relatively clean but there was still quite a lot of filth. There was no toilet paper on the first day. The staff seemed lazy (scrolling phones on the sofa), the AI posters on the wall tells you everything about how much thought has been put into running the place. How lazy can you be not to have posters about Scotland and you AI slop instead. The beds were ok. Pillows were like potato sacks. There could have been a microwave and a kettle in the reception/common area. It seemed like they cared more about having a bar which no one used during our stay. The location was excellent and the rooms were decent, although there was some noice from other guests (which is understandable). The lockers worked well and were spacious.

I stayed at Revolver for four days when I visited Edinburgh for the first time and the location was, in my opinion, the best thing about it. I booked a bed in a "premium" room, but upon arrival, the bunkbeds looked nothing like they did in the photos, and my bed had clean sheets on but there was a very dusty-looking decorational cushion on top of my pillow, which I didn't appreciate. There was a kitchen in the basement with a fridge, stove, etc. which I never stepped foot in and can't comment on. The showers never seemed to be cleaned the entire time I was there because the same towel and empty soap bottles were lying on the floor from the moment I arrived until I left four days later. The floor in my room was also quite dusty and dirty - never saw a cleaner during my stay. A nice plus was the vanity room with hair dryers, a hair straightener, good lighting and sinks. I received a key card for my room but almost never needed it because the door was barely ever closed, which felt a little unsafe. I probably wouldn't stay there again unless I booked a private room with its own bathroom since the location is fantastic.

I stayed here from September 25 and checked out Sept 26. The bed sheets seem did not changed. My arms, legs and hands have been bitten with bed bugs. I couldn't sleep for all night. I will have to throw out my clothes and see doctor when i get home in Canada. In order not affect other people during the night. I reported this incident early in the morning at 8am and show my arms and hands. I asked my refund but was rejected by reception. I would like to investigate and return my payment. Thanks
