My stay at the Hilton was the best day I ever had the bed was so comfortable the room is so clean the staff was so awesome I will book again and the rate I got that helped a lot thank you
The hotel is nice, clean, and conveniently located near the local metro station. There are also PLENTY of great places to eat in the area.
I booked trip with parking and breakfast. Due to covid-19 the restaurant was closed. They adjusted my rate by taking off the breakfast charge.
Great customer service. Unfortunately, exceptionally loud street noise due to construction. Construction continued throughout much of the night
I have stayed in several properties over the past few months and all have implemented precautions related to COVID-19. However, this property took steps that I believe were extreme, taking advantage of the situation to reduce services to a "bare bones" level while offering residents no compensation. Hospitality services (cleaning, bed-making, coffee-stocking, et al) were cancelled except by special request, which meant I used the same linen for my entire stay and had to retrieve replacement coffee and creamer from the front desk myself. Also, the restaurant and bar were completely closed down, as opposed to operating at restricted occupancy. I also had repeated problems getting into, and out of, the parking garage, necessitating a call to the desk while stuck behind a gate when trying to exit, and requiring an extra stop at the front desk later on to deal with the problem when I could not get back in.
I have stayed in many Hilton Hotels over the years, & overall, it was a wonderful stay. Staff was overall, wonderful, condition & comfort excellent. But, upon arriving at 1am, I found the sheets on my bed were not changed from a previous guest. It was obvious that they were slept in. I found that unacceptable. I asked for a top sheet to be sent up. They sent a fitted sheet. I had to call again for a flat sheet. The next morning, I saw that the iron in our room had plastic residue on the bottom of the ironing surface, and I refused to risk transferring the residue to my clothes. I called the front desk and asked if they could send one up that was clean, and that we were rushing to get to a funeral. It took over 30 minutes to get the iron, causing me to be late to my father's funeral service! Later that evening we asked for water from the front desk. But we got two different stories about the water bottles. We were told upon check-in that it was all complimentary, however, this different desk person said it was $2 per bottle. That was annoying, since we didn't lug water in thinking it was available in-house. Not wanting to go out again, we went without. Sam at the front desk was very kind and accommodating, but I think that the facility is suffering from the Covid nightmare. Bad communication, dirty sheets not changed between guests, and policies differing between employees was very frustrating.
Easy access to garage and very COVID aware staff.
