Tweed Ultima is an excellent place to stay in Tweed Heads as it's conveniently located near the Twin Towns Service Club and the magnificent beaches of Greenmount and Coolangatta. Highly recommended.

Our apartment had a broken door handle. Lights not working and the microwave had mould growing in it and on the shelf underneath. When I reported it the staff member referred to me as lovely which is very condescending. When I explained it was a health hazzard and asked for a new one the response was to have house cleaning clean it. When I explained that the mould spors will be all through the microwave and it’s a health hazzard And it needed to be replaced I was spoken to quite rudely. The response later was that we should pack up and move to another apartment which would put us out as we had a lot of stuff with us. I asked if the microwave from the apartment they were going to put us in could be swapped with the mouldy one. The microwave was removed from our apartment but not replaced. I have no doubt that it was put back in the apartment after we left. Worst service I have ever received at a holiday complex

Good overall
The Location was perfect,walk to everything .Apartment was a great size with everything for a short or long stay .Washing Machine,Clothes Dryer, Oven,Cook Top etc . Free Parking in the basement is great . Plenty of eateries, supermarkets nearby. Only downside of the apartment was both the Lounge and the the bedding. The lounge was well past its renewal date being a cheap Fantastic furniture product . The bed was very low to the ground and sunk in the middle , also a cheap product that was weary uncomfortable.The owners need to update these items for a reasonable price and therefore have a perfect apartment for a fair price.
