Good self-catered accomodation
This hotel is a good choice if you want to cook for yourself. A Billa supermarket is located nearby (not open on Sundays). I think the Murphy beds are useless though, they are too heavy to be of any practical benefit. I think the frequency of room servicing should be twice a week rather than once a week. The laundry facilities are very useful and more clothe-dryers would be an improvement. I have stayed here a couple of times and its a good economical choice but still offers an excellent standard of accommodation.

Exceptional
Great Aparthotel for a no frills stay in the City.
A last minute booking mean’t I had a limited choice of hotels available. I originally booked the 5 star Hilton but cancelled purely on the basis of their sauna being out of order (under construction). A sauna or steam room is a must for me on a city break. I was a bit concerned about settling for a 4 star (some sites have it as a 3 star) Aparthotel, only 30 euros per night less than the Hilton, but I chose it mainly for its location, just inside the inner ring. The location of the Hilton turned out to be pretty disappointing. For those looking for plush carpets and a pretentious Spa, then this hotel is not for you. For me, it was just what I needed. Comfortable bed, excellent modern bathroom, good breakfast, (hot options could be better), spacious gym and sauna area (mixed sauna, expect nudity) But, above all, really friendly service (especially the two guys on overnight reception Thurs, Fri and Sat, and a very good location (about 10 mins walk along the canal front, to the historic centre). If I had to find any fault I would say that the hallway carpets could do with replacing and the view from the “courtyard” rooms are very disappointing. However, you do get a very quiet, peaceful stay, compared to a city view room over the main road / trams etc. A couple did check out early as they were unhappy, but overall this Aparthotel does what it says on the tin and I would definitely stay there again.

Fair
carpet is not clean. Room has smells. There is no daily house keeping.front desk say that they post the info on web site. However, we booked through Hotels. I have stayed in other Aparthotel Adagio and they did provide daily cleaning. At night, there is only one person at front desk and seems that is only one can provide service and assistance

Good comfortable stay!
Overall a decent and comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and approachable. I had requested for a studio with a bath tub but was given one without bath tub but the manager was ready to change it next day. Hotel is just opposite to Urania and right next to Canal so city view from room is stunning. Tram stop for Trams 1 and 2 are right at the entrance of the hotel and is so comfortable to use public transport without the need for taxi ever. Aiport express train is just 5 mins walk. HoponHopoff stop is also 5-6 mins walk (one stop on tram 1) so citysight seeing is easy. Lots of restaurants and. cafes nearby. Mitte mall is just 5 mins walk where you an easily catch S/U train to various destinations. I would definitely recommend a stay at Adagio Vienna.
