Offensive, Lazy, Dishonest People, Poor sanitation in rooms. prepared food outside in cold weather without plate warmers or food warmers that worked. Guests asked staff to close open door to restaurant and they propped it open for their convenience instead. Lights was dismal and the feeling was dismal in rooms and restaurant.
Great hotel and location, great staff
Location and style of the building. The staff of the hotel is very proffesional. Amenities and SPA are excellent.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and rich in Morroccan culture the decor is to die for and the staff was very pleasant
We specifically opted to stay in this hotel due to the spa facilities. When we arrived we were informed we could not use the indoor pool or other facilities unless we paid for a spa treatment or paid a daily access fee of 220 dihrams - as we were spending 6 nights there this would have been 1320 just to use our own pool. We ended up booking spa treatments (which in themselves disappointing) and when we entered the pool found there was black mould all over the walls at one end - it was absolutely disgusting. As well as the above - we were woken at 8am on two mornings by building work and drilling. We had to be moved to another part of the hotel as this was apparently going to be everyday, we cannot understand why you would assign people rooms where construction is taking place! When we came to check out we found weird charges on our bill - the most ridiculous was a daily charge for refilling the coffee in our room (which was not stated anywhere and something you’d expect in any hotel). I would not recommend staying here - in fact, I’d recommend you avoid it at all costs.
The place is tired. We were “upgraded” to two much larger rooms as GUESTS OF THE DAY. Unfortunately, it was to a part of the hotel that was being renovated, - I assume these two rooms would be done in the future - and there was a disco tech across the street from the hotel closer to these “SPECIAL ROOMs”. Emanating from the disco was a booming and throbbing beat that did not stop until 2:00 AM. When I mentioned it at the desk the next morning the clerk simply shrugged and said it wasn’t their disco! I would never stay here again. Additionally, we were with a large group for dinner and the service was awful. 1 waiter for 20 people. Unacceptable.
This is a gorgeous property in Marrakech, complete with luxe amenities and beautiful rooms and facilities. The pool is wonderful, and breakfast had countless delicious options. The downsides were that the staff was a little surly on more than one occasion - we needed some help with train tickets etc and even though no one was at the counter, no one at reception would help us and sent us to wait in line for the concierge. This was the same on the phone - the concierge never picked up but the reception staff wouldn't help us. The top downside is the price of food and drinks beyond breakfast - alcoholic drinks especially were atrociously priced, and the food was not good value for money (and did not have many local choices, mostly Western food options). Gorgeous though, highly recommend!
Typically Morrocan, spacious rooms, excellent staff always there to help and advise. Large pool area with staff on hand.
Great staff, excellent check in, awesome experience
