It’s a good location - but no elevator - I should have checked this. We were in the second floor No sea view rooms were available as the hotel was full. Lovely staff, very friendly abd helpful. Excellent breakfast choices

Lovely people, great location, excellent food
Historic building near lakes and a sandy beach. Really pleasant, helpful, cheerful staff. Breakfast cooked to order. Restaurant food was excellent and not overpriced. Comfortable rooms (no air con but fans provided). Surprisingly quiet at night. A few minutes walk from Waterloo Station - trains every 15 minutes between Liverpool & Southport, plus frequent buses. Lots of restaurants nearby. We'd be happy to return.

Only stayed for 2 nights, but we enjoyed our visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is limited parking on site but there seemed to be plenty of street parking available.

Liverpool Lodge
If you are going to visit Liverpool for a day or two, this is the perfect place to stay. Very nice rooms, a seven minute walk to the train station that takes you right to Liverpool city center, and a great breakfast. Much less expensive than staying in the city and has plenty of parking.
