Hotel Magnetberg Baden-Baden

This is a lovely hotel just up the hill from the centre of town and only 7 minute walk from the Caracalla Spa. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and a good shower, all new fittings and fixtures. They are doing a great job of handling the Covid stuff and the staff were very nice too. Free parking out of the front of the hotel or 7 euros a night for the secure garage, great, if you drive a low-slung sports car like me (Or a huge 4WD) and need a level, dry, safe place to park for the duration of your stay.

Great view at a nice location, clean room and friendly staff Nothing special to complain. The water pressure from the shower was very low and the water temperature was hard to regulate... it changed to extrem hot by itself. We asked the hotel for a cool room even without A/C. It was indeed pleasant to sleep in the room without A/C. Nice hotel environment!

Room a bit small but clean. Hotel was empty, could have given us an upgrade but did not. Had to wait until 2 pm to get the room even though most of the rooms had not been occupied the night before. For for a one night stay, it was fine. Good central location.

Location is beautiful but staff

Pros: - beautiful grounds, facilities, scenery - breakfast buffet was amazing (especially the crispy bacon and fresh-squeezed orange juice) - excellent WiFi - umbrellas available for rainy days - most of the staff was very friendly & helpful Cons: - Never received "VIP" credit of 10 euro (food & beverage) - A bit confusing finding the main entrance to hotel using Apple Maps - Front desk receptionist (on Sunday morning) gave a "disappointed" look/face when credit card was used to pay for breakfast/taxes. Mentioned that the hotel "has to pay" bank each time credit card is used. Very odd comment to make.

Great property up a steep hill from the old town in Baden-Baden. FYI if you arrive early in the week the restaurant/bar will be closed. Also it's not possible to get ice. Other than that, first rate breakfast and hotel.

Lovely, peaceful hotel which had stunning views of Baden Baden. The balcony is super and very relaxing. The breakfast was very varied and tasty and the staff were very helpful and efficient. The only down side was that the restaurant has limited opening hours. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and excellent value. It is located up a very steep hill so older or unfit guests may struggle to get up it. Otherwise, it's highly recommended.

Really great property- if you are coming from the train station like us it is a bit of a schlepp- we ended up getting a taxi, but there is a direct bus line to the hotel (we later Great slightly hilly town easily walkable.

I stayed here on my way from Munich to Paris and 1 night just wasn’t enough. I loved it and will absolutely return soon!

The rooms were very quiet owing to its location high on a hill. The property is not air conditioned.
