Won’t be going back.
Rooms we were allocated were dreadful. After complaining we were allocated a slightly better one but the couple we were holidaying with were given an apartment style accommodation but many issues and not comfortable. We couldn’t wait to leave. We didn’t enjoy our time there and apart from one male member of staff the rest were surly and unwelcoming. The member of staff who did at least smile recommended a restaurant in Ravello, which was superb. However he also recommended a boat trip along the Amalfi coast. £500+ and promised we would see Positano, (we did see it from way out to see), have an hour ashore in Amalfi and lunch. We had lunch at an ok beach bar but of course we paid the restaurant additionally for that. The other parts of the itinerary never happened. Just chugged up and back down the coast. As for snacks and drinks, couple of bottles of water, a shot of limoncello and a slice of cold pizza. An absolute rip off and boring. Absolutely not what we were told we would get for our £500.

Beautiful hotel located in a stunning mountain area. Rooms are small but very cosy with a beautiful view. Pool was also very nice surrounded by a gorgeous view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also get the foot massage!

Excellent Expierience
It was our 2nd stop of our trip and it was my favourite stop. A true Italian experience. The mountain stay in a little town in the mountains, was fantastic!! The hotel was wonderful with really nice people at the front desk. Very helpful.

Remote. Unaccessible.
Hotel is remote and NOWHERE does it mention how unaccessible the hotel is. Super narrow roads and inability to get to the reception by car. you need to park elsewhere and they send you a shuttle. Room was shabby, ancient furnitures and dust. I will never stay there again. We cut our stay short as a result.

Mixed feelings
One of the staff who welcomed us acted agitated and unprofessional when we needed help for the exact location and details of the parking and as well as the apartment unit considering I had a foot injury… the details were meant to minimize the walking on the steep hilly road with cobbled stones. She was impatient and the manner of talking to my spouse then eventually to us as well seemed discourteous. Thank you!

Hotel Scapolatiello is a wonderfully located hotel at the top of a vibrant town called Cava De Tirreni. The dinner is very good that we had. Is a multiple course menu. The staff are great and the most friendly! Would highly recommend. And the views you see of there hotel online is the exact same you see in person. Great experience!
