Functional hotel
The hotel is functional. However, the room was in a dark corner, looking at a blank wall 10 feet away. The furnishings and carpet looked tired. That said, the location is good. The staff we met at reception were pleasant and courteous.

River hotel stay!
Hotel was very central. Rooms are old style but clean & comfortable. Staff helpful & friendly. Wifi was not working from before 8am & got fixed by ~10am. Room was very warm.

Good stay for the money
Overall very good stay! Only complaint was that the bed was very uncomfortable.

Said it was a king size bed, but was only two twin size beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable, and room a lot smaller than it appeared in any photos.

Eventually it was very nice!
Check in clerk wasn't very helpful or informative: (there were complimentary water bottle/filling stations and snacks that we "stumbled" upon after a day or so). Our first room was not what we requested -I think because I had a free night with Hotels.com: when I called to change rooms I was told I could upgrade for an additional fee. I took it because the room we were given was WAY too small (first 2 pics). The room we finally got was great...with an amazing view so, it worked out. (other pics) If they didn't have that available, though, I would have been calling Hotels.com (which isn't like me normally)! The only other issue was that housekeeping came in to clean even though the "do not disturb" sign was on the door so, that was a little awkward when we got back to the room. But, all-in-all it was a good, clean hotel and I would probably stay there again...with some caveats and "precautions" to take.
